Meet Jerry Taylor

Alabama personal injury lawyer, Jerry Taylor has extensive experience handling complex litigation such as nursing home abuse and neglect, mass tort lawsuits involving dangerous drugs and defective product lawsuits for large law firms, but he was unsatisfied with the bureaucracy and what he saw as a "numbers game" that didn't always benefit the clients.

Jerry Taylor is a lawyer who enjoys getting involved in his cases and confronting face-to-face the people responsible for causing injury, something he has very good experience in. For example in handling Trasylol cases, he took depositions in Europe of key executives at Bayer for their role in the promotion and use of that dangerous drug. Because of his dedication and skill he is commonly recognized by other lawyers and judges as someone who can be trusted to handle mass tort cases, and has been elected to the plaintiffs' steering committees for Bextra, Celebrex, Fosamax and Chantix among other leadership positions in ongoing cases.

Jerry Taylor has handled over 500 cases of nursing home abuse and neglect in the southeast, including Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia. He has a high level of success, including one of the largest nursing home verdicts in Alabama, a $7 million verdict on behalf of a nursing home abuse victim. Now he brings his expertise to his own firm. He says, "Nursing homes dehumanize your loved one. They treat them just like another mouth to feed, a patient number. Meet Our Legal Team

When Jerry Taylor left the big firms behind, he didn't do it alone. Instead, he took with him some of the support team to whom he owed much of his success. This includes his nurse/administrator Teresa Gober, considered by Taylor to be one of the best in the country at analyzing and evaluating medical records and the care given at nursing homes to determine whether that care was up to the standard your loved one deserves.

Adam Gober is an associate attorney at the Taylor Law Firm.  His work for Jerry Taylor began when Adam was in college, working as a runner and clerk in Jerry’s office.  While in middle school, Adam realized that he wanted to practice law and has been working in the legal field since he was sixteen years old.  In college, he was president of the Pre-Law Society, a student justice, and he competed on the mock trial team.  At thirty-one years old, Adam has already developed a lifelong love for the law.

Lisa Taylor graduated from Auburn University in 1986 with a B.S. in Building Science. She worked in the construction industry on large Department of Defense projects until attending law school. Lisa graduated from Jones School of Law in 1993. She practiced in the area of probate law until joining her husband Jerry at Taylor Law Firm, LLC.
